HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! – JULIA TO WRITE THANKSGIVING POST THIS EVENING (11/22, 3pm)

November 22, 2007

Happy Thanksgiving to all in Julia’s Army!  We hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing day  with their families.  Today we are giving thanks for all we have been blessed with and particularly Julia’s improving health and recovery.  This will be a Thanksgiving to remember.  We enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal downstairs with Julia, turkey, dressing, gravy, potatoes and desert.  Dad misses Mom’s cooking on Thanksgiving so she has promised to cook a Thanksgiving meal the following weekend when we are certain to be home.  Julia is in the playroom watching John and Nicholas play.  We took a short walk outside pushing Julia in her wheelchair and the weather is warm and breezy.  Julia enjoyed the sun on her skin and the nice breeze.  We have permission from the nurses to take her out for a longer walk this afternoon.  She has walked a little further down the hall with her walker.  A little further each day, a little stronger each day.

Julia says she believes she is strong enough to type her own message this evening.  She is excited to get on her blog site just working on her energy level.  Stay tuned and Julia will be posting soon.  Please be sure to visit her site tonight.

With love and thanks,   Regina and Harry and family

    Hey Julia,

    Happy Thanksgiving!!!

When ever i read your up dates i am always on the phone with a friend. I always tell them about you and your family and what you have to go through. My friends are always touched and check out your website. Sarah my Best Friend knows what you are going through because one of friend had to go through something similar. I hope you get better and are happy with the outcome of your surgery.
